Utah Summer Wedding – Leslie and Jacob

Leslie and Jacob celebrated their summer Utah wedding among family and friends during the. most beautiful month of August! Leslie and Jacob were my first wedding in the month of august — Utah of course did not disappoint with all sorts of surprises with weather. Leslie and Jacob were married in the Provo City Center Temple with a whole line up of family and friends to greet them when they exited! It was perfect cloudy weather until the sun peeked through for the hottest family photos lol. We took our time around the temple for their formals – and watched anxiously as huge dark clouds crept over the sky as we finished up! It wasn’t 5 minutes after we made it back to our cars that it poured rain!! Classic utah for a summer wedding :’) Their ceremony was held at Provo Conrad Ranch with the gorgeous utah mountains in the back to photograph. Their ceremony was so unique, with seats for the bride and groom, speeches from Leslie and Jacob’s mothers, the brides father serenaded everyone with a song and exchanged the sweetest vows and rings. Both mothers shared their versions of they bride and grooms relationship, how incredible both the bride and groom were, and how they got to watch each of them become one as a couple. I felt honored to be a part of a wedding with a couple so perfectly matched for each other!! My favorite part was to hear their mothers share the grooms thoughts about Leslie, it was like every part of their relationship contained something about her that surprised him. Both the bride and groom so immensely talented and successful, it was obvious that they were meant for each other. Their reception was catered, a yummy soda bar and simple summer cake. To top it off they danced the night away in intermittent rainstorms and rainbows — ending the evening with a HUGE show of bubbles for their exit! View more weddings here 🙂
